I recently decided to create a website from scratch. I wanted to use some features in my website, like leveraging the YouTube API to show my recently uploaded videos. In my journey to find good documentation about using YouTube API and HTML, it yielded outdated results on the web. I thought, Ah! Here is an opportunity for me to create a video. Along with the video, I'm adding some notes that will show a high-level overview of what we will achieve.
1. Create a Project to generate API in console.developers.google.com.
2. Read through the YouTube API documentation to identify the most relevant GET URL.
3. Use Notepad to build out the URL and to see the API response.
4. Copy the HTML/CSS code online to have an HTML structure.
5. Write Javascript using the Fetch functionality to iterate through the YouTube API response.
Will provide the code at request. Reach out through Venmo with $1 😏 @Shainu
