Find and Replace using Microsoft Excel

Find and Replace using Ctrl + H:
  1. Open your Microsoft Excel file and select the range of cells where you want to perform the Find and Replace function. 
  2. Press "Ctrl + H" on your keyboard or go to the "Find & Select" dropdown menu in the Home tab, then select "Replace." 
  3. In the "Find and Replace" dialog box that appears, enter the text you want to find in the "Find what" field. 
  4. In the "Replace with" field, enter the text you want to replace the found text with. 
  5. Choose your options. You can choose to match case, match entire cell contents, or even use wildcards to search for specific patterns. 
  6. Once you're satisfied with your choices, click "Replace All" to make the changes throughout the selected range. 
Using Substitute function in Excel: 
  1. Select the cell where you want to use the SUBSTITUTE function. 
  2. Type in "=SUBSTITUTE(" and then select the cell you want to make changes to. 
  3. Type in the text you want to replace in the next set of parentheses. 
  4. Type in the text you want to replace it with in the next set of parentheses. 
  5. Press "Enter" to complete the function. 
  6. The cell will now display the updated text. 
With these simple steps, you can easily use the Find and Replace function or the SUBSTITUTE function in Microsoft Excel to make changes to your data.
